Chelsea was in her late 30s when she faced an “unexpected twist” in her life.

The following day, Chelsea, along with her supportive husband and their 17-year-old daughter, arrived at the pregnancy center, where they were greeted by their warm and welcoming client advocate.
Chelsea explained her situation, sharing how her doctors had strongly advised against continuing with another pregnancy due to her history of c-sections and the heartbreaking loss she had endured.
Her client advocate listened attentively, offering her comfort and understanding.
To help mitigate her fears, she also shared clear, science-backed information regarding health risks after c-sections.
Sensing that Chelsea “needed more,” she provided her with the number of a pro-life obstetrician who could offer further expert medical advice and research regarding her personal risks of fetal abnormalities or stillbirth.
Chelsea was hesitant, but agreed to return for an ultrasound appointment later that week.
On the day of the ultrasound appointment, Chelsea lay on the examination table, her eyes fixed on the monitor, her heart pounding with anticipation.
The room seemed to “hold its breath,” waiting for the image to appear.
And there it was: a tiny, flickering heartbeat on the screen, a new life– filled with infinite possibilities!
In that moment, all doubts, fears, and thoughts about aborting melted away.
Chelsea knew deep within her that this child was “meant to be” – and, with her maternal instincts kicking into full gear, that she was ready to embrace the challenges ahead with unwavering love and strength.
She asked for the contact information for the pro-life OB referral, and she thanked her client advocate for her support, knowing that she had guided her toward this profound and authentic decision.
Chelsea, her husband, and their daughter left the center with newfound hope, ready to welcome this precious new member into their loving family, no matter what the future held.
