We have an enemy of our soul who tries to “establish his basecamp” at the doorstep of our lives, evermore seeking to find ways to “steal, kill, and destroy.”

He’s relentless in his evil quest to destroy the lives of innocent preborn children, with more than 63 million lives already stolen in our country alone.

Yet, our Almighty Father gives us the unwavering assurance of His faithfulness and promises to “establish (us) and guard (us) against the evil one” (2 Thessalonians 3:3).

When we claim His promises over our circumstances, the enemy has no recourse but to flee!

Alyssa had struggled with deep-seated insecurity most of her life, stemmed from broken relationships.

It was difficult for her to trust people, much less God.

When she found out she was pregnant, she panicked, feeling certain that the father of this baby could not be counted on to be supportive of her and their baby.

He wasted no time, immediately breaking off the relationship and leaving Alyssa to figure things out on her own.

She also had a medical history, and was assuming that her pregnancy would be high risk.

Feeling overwhelmed by insecurities about her future, she decided abortion would be her “best option.”

However, even when she was not counting on God, He was already at work to establish and guard her and her baby!

God intervened through Alyssa’s internet search for abortion options by connecting her with life-affirming help at our Pregnancy Help Center partner in Alliance, Ohio, through Heroic Media’s OAASYS Emergency Response ad.

Our partner was at the ready to help Alyssa when she called the hotline and the compassionate hotline staff convinced her to make an appointment.

During her intake session with her client advocate, Alyssa shared her fears.

Instead of being met with judgment, she felt God’s love for her through her client advocate.

She came to realize that her trust issues with others did not apply when it came to God, for He would always be trustworthy!

When Alyssa saw her baby’s heartbeat and movement on the ultrasound screen, the walls around her heart crumbled.

She knew she could not proceed with an abortion.

Our pregnancy center partner helped connect her with financial and medical assistance, which further cemented her decision to choose life!
