Cassandra and her husband lived a simple life with their four small children.

They didn’t “have much,” but they were always able to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table.

While her husband worked in construction during the day, Cassandra ran a small photography business on top of working as a full-time stay-at-home mom.

Things weren’t always easy for Cassandra’s family, but she and her husband knew the sacrifices they were making were worth making if it meant a loving home for their children.

When Cassandra began to suspect she might be pregnant again, she felt certain her family “could not bear” the added financial strain.

When she shared the shocking news with her husband, he agreed with her initial assessment, and they decided to seek an abortion.

They believed it was early enough in the pregnancy that a “simple” early abortion would “do no harm.”

Of course, we know the truth that abortion always does harm.

Cassandra began searching online for an abortion facility.

Thanks to your support of Heroic Media’s OAASYS Emergency Response ads, she was connected with OAASYS’s Pregnancy Help Center partner in Tulsa, Oklahoma, instead, and made an appointment.

Once at the center, she asked for more information on abortion procedures.

Her expression grimaced as she learned about early fetal development and the gruesome realities of early (and all) abortion procedures.

Eventually, she agreed to a free ultrasound to try to determine the baby’s gestational age.

To everyone’s shock, the baby was much more developed than expected.

Cassandra was already well into her second trimester!

It didn’t take long for her “oohing and aahing” to turn into excitement.

She was already getting to know her baby and felt an attachment to him.

Within moments, Cassandra called her husband and they both agreed to leave their thoughts of aborting behind and parent their fifth baby.
