The coronavirus crisis has upended life as we knew it.
Businesses have been forced to shutter, jobs are lost and, whether one admits it or not, a pervasive undercurrent of fear and insecurity has become the default.
Yet, God is still King over ALL, and His “corona” (crown) remains as firmly in place now as from the beginning of time – His are the everlasting arms which are carrying us through this crisis and beyond!
Tina had already made up her mind about an abortion.
She just had one problem: the local abortion facility was closed because of the lockdown in her state due to COVID-19.
Undeterred, Tina found an out-of-state abortion facility which was still performing abortions and scheduled an appointment.
Yet, the God Who says He crowns us with love and mercy intervened!
Before traveling, Tina decided she would make one last attempt to see if she could locate an abortion facility locally that would provide her with an abortion.
In her internet search, Heroic Media’s OAASYS Emergency Response ad appeared at the top of her search results.
Dialing the phone number displayed, Tina found herself making a phone call that forever changed her and her baby’s lives: instead of the abortion facility, she was connected to Heroic Media’s Pregnancy Help Center (PHC) partner in Tulsa!
Our PHC partner had made the decision to remain open in spite of the COVID-19 crisis because they knew women seeking abortions needed the life-saving help they provided.
The center’s hotline staff convinced Tina to come in for an appointment before obtaining her abortion, helping her understand that she needed to first gather the critical information that was required prior to terminating a pregnancy, which the center would provide for her at no cost.
Tina agreed to be seen.
At her appointment, the ultrasound Tina received shook her to her core.
She saw a very active baby who was clearly sucking its thumb.
There was no denying the strong life-force in her tiny child!
The center staff also assured Tina that they would help her access the community assistance resources she needed should she choose to continue with her pregnancy.
Met with mercy and compassion, Tina canceled her abortion appointment and, instead,chose life for her baby!
