Scripture says that Christ is our hiding place.

We find safety from Satan’s evil intent to destroy us when we hide ourselves in Christ.

God’s Word also proclaims that He hides us in the day of trouble as His means of complete protection for us.

Yet, He is not a God who hides from us, for when we seek Him, He reveals Himself and pours out His mercies in abundant measure!

Dayna was in her late twenties and already had several children.

When she discovered she was pregnant again, she felt completely overwhelmed.

Even though she professed a strong faith in God and believed abortion would be against God’s will, the panic and fear she felt about having more children rendered her vulnerable to Satan’s lies.

An abortion would “fix” her situation…“would it not?”

When Dayna called Heroic Media’s Pregnancy Help Center partner in Tulsa, Oklahoma, she had already had an initial appointment at an abortion facility.

In fact, she called our PHC partner “by accident” – she thought – because she was trying to find the phone number of the abortion facility where she had been.

But, providentially, her internet search triggered Heroic Media’s OAASYS Emergency Response ad, connecting her to our PHC partner!

Clearly, there are no “accidents” in God’s economy: He was using the OAASYS ad to reach and reveal Himself to Dayna through connecting her to life-saving help!

Using effective hotline counseling skills honed through experience coupled with OAASYS’s hotline training, the hotline counselor convinced Dayna to make an appointment at their center instead of going back to the abortion facility.

Dayna agreed.

At her appointment, she shared that she had received an ultrasound at the abortion facility, but they told her they did not see a baby and had sent her home – even though Dayna knew she was still pregnant.

When she received the ultrasound at the pregnancy help center, not only did the sonographer detect that she was, indeed, still pregnant – but that she was carrying twins!!

Dayna’s client advocate lovingly guided her to see how all she needed to do was to rest in the shadow of the Almighty, and He would provide for her, her twin babies, and all of her other children.

Dayna proclaimed:“I see the hand of God in directing me to your center!”

Dayna’s story is an astounding testimony of how God not only hid her babies during the first ultrasound at the abortion facility in order to protect them, but when she chose to make Him her hiding place, He gave her the strength she needed to make the choice for LIFE!
