Grace’s fingers trembled as she scrolled through the search results on her phone, her eyes fixed on the screen.

Determination mingled with trepidation as she searched for “a lifeline” amidst the turmoil of her circumstances.

As a single mother living with her parents, Grace faced numerous challenges.

The recent passing of her husband left her feeling devastated and overwhelmed.

The responsibility of raising their young daughter alone weighed heavily on her shoulders.

Discovering she was pregnant, the emotional and financial strains of her situation had pushed her to consider abortion as her “best option”.

But… was it…?

As she searched online for an abortion facility, thanks to your support of Heroic Media’s OAASYS (On-demand Alternatives to Abortion SYStem) Emergency Response ads, she was connected with OAASYS’s Pregnancy Help Center partner in Tampa, Florida instead.

Going beyond the initial landing page displaying the phone number to call, Grace went on to the website.

She saw that this women’s center did not offer abortion services, but offered guidance for women seeking abortions and support when facing an unexpected pregnancy: resources, counseling, and programs designed to empower women in difficult situations.

Grace’s mind raced with thoughts and memories of her first pregnancy – a traumatic experience filled with complications.

She had been pre-eclamptic, and her baby had been born prematurely.

Now, as she reflected on those moments, she found herself drawn to the center’s “Healing Grace” program.

It seemed to offer a path to healing and growth, a chance to navigate her fears and overcome the trauma she had endured.

With a surge of courage, Grace made the decision to reach out to the center.

She dialed the number, spoke with the intake specialist, and made an appointment to be seen.

At her appointment, she was greeted warmly and met withSarah, her client advocate.

Grace poured her heart out, sharing her story, her pain, and her conflicted thoughts – especially about pursuing the abortion option.

Sarah listened patiently, offering a nonjudgmental ear and a compassionate voice.

She offered Grace a free ultrasound, and Grace accepted.

When she saw her baby’s heartbeat on the screen, time seemed to “stand still.”

In that moment, she instantly changed her mind about pursuing an abortion and found the strength to choose life for her preborn baby!

As she left, Grace felt a glimmer of hope, a spark of possibility.

The online search for an abortion facility had led her to something unexpected: an opportunity to find solace, support, and a community that understood her journey.

It was a chance to embrace her healing, reclaim her life on her own terms, and honor the precious heartbeat that had changed everything.

Praise be to God!

And thank you for the role you played in helping bring Grace to this life-empowering women’s center through your prayers and support of OAASYS!
