Angelica found herself staring at a positive pregnancy test at the age of 18.

She had one thought going through her mind: Abortion is my only option.

Angelica immediately searched Google for abortion information near her.

In God’s providence and grace, Angelica clicked on a Heroic Media ad that connected her with our Pregnancy Help Center partner in Oklahoma City.

She set an appointment with the center and, after several cancellations, she finally came to the center a few weeks later, accompanied by her mother.

The appointment started with an ultrasound and both Angelica and her mother gasped.

The baby was 13 weeks old and was dancing in Angelica’s belly! Angelica’s perfectly formed child showed off for Mommy, swirling, and swimming and filling the screen with activity.

The counselor shared with Angelica what an abortion at this stage would do to her tiny dancer, and Angelica said, “I cannot imagine having an abortion after hearing how it works.”

At this point, it seemed as if God’s work had been done, as Angelica had chosen life for her child. Yet, God was not finished.

Angelica’s mother opened up to her daughter and the counselor that she had aborted a child many years earlier.

She said the pain of the abortion had never gone away and she wanted better for Angelica and her grandbaby.

Mother and daughter left the center with new closeness and an excitement for the new life they are welcoming into the world together!

Our God is an awesome God!
