Aubrey, a 17-year-old foster child, found out that she was pregnant unexpectedly.

She was afraid that if her foster mother found out, she would be kicked out of the home.

Aubrey searched online for information about getting an abortion and was connected to Ca Pregnancy Help Center that partners with Heroic Media through a Heroic Media advertisement.

She made an appointment with the center and came in with the father of her baby.

Aubrey shared with the counselors that she only had support from her 19-year-old sister and the father of her baby.

She said that her foster mother wanted her to either get an abortion or “fall down the stairs” so she would miscarry.

Aubrey not only felt pressured by her foster mother, but she was unsure about her future.

One of the counselors shared her personal abortion story with Aubrey.

The counselor referred her to a local maternity home.

By the end of the counseling session, Aubrey felt more confident in her options and chose to parent her baby!

The counselors followed up with her several days later and she shared that her foster home would let her stay there, but if things changed, she would call the maternity home for support.

We are so grateful Aubrey chose life!
