Bethany found out she was pregnant unexpectedly, and over time she became extremely sick, and unable to work.

She started to consider an abortion.

Bethany turned to the internet for options. She clicked on a Heroic Media ad that led her to call one of our Pregnancy Help Center partners in Philadelphia.

She spoke with a receptionist on the phone, and agreed to come in for an appointment the next day.

Bethany shared with the counselor that she felt like she was failing her family by not being able to work.

Her husband was pressuring her to get an abortion so that the financial burden would not fully fall on him.

Bethany also opened up about abortions she had in the past.

She shared they were a terrible experience, and she had told herself she never wanted to go down that path again.

Bethany’s counselor was able to get her connected to a doctor who helped her with medication to help her feel
better.

She stayed in contact with our partner until she returned for her ultrasound where she happily shared that she was
keeping her baby!

Bethany stated that after coming to the center, she felt empowered as a woman to keep her baby despite the negativity from her husband.

Thanks be to God for giving Bethany the courage to say “yes” to life!
