Janae found out she was pregnant unexpectedly at 37 years old.

She is the mother of four children, aged 5 to 18.

However, all of her children are living with their fathers because of her unstable living situation.

Janae could not imagine having another baby.

She is currently unemployed and lives with her relatives.

Janae started to contemplate getting an abortion.

She searched on the internet for answers, and discovered one of our Pregnancy Help Center partners in Chicago after clicking on a Heroic Media ad.

She called the center, and wanted to learn more about her options.

She agreed to come in for an appointment the next day.

During the appointment, Janae stated that she did not want an abortion, but felt incapable of caring for her baby, and has no support system.

The client advocate reminded her of the support she can find at the center.

Janae was given informaton on her options and had an ultrasound, revealing a healthy, 11-week-old baby.

She was emotional as she saw her baby move on the screen.

Afterward, Janae said she could not have an abortion after seeing her baby.

Her client advocate provided her with guidance in finding prenatal care and continues to provide her with support.
