Today’s Save Story: Kyla

Kyla battled an addiction to heroin and lost her own parent to drugs. She found out she was pregnant unexpectedly at age fourteen.

Kyla was left feeling alone and scared so she searched online for information about getting an abortion even though she went back and forth about going through with that decision.

A Heroic Media ad connected her to a Pregnancy Help Center that partners with Heroic Media, so she called the phone number that popped up on the screen.

Kyla shared with the phone counselor that everyone around her encouraged her to get an abortion, and she felt that her life would be over if she did not get one. The counselor encouraged her to meet with a nurse at the clinic. Kyla came in for an ultrasound appointment.

When Kyla saw her baby moving and heard the heartbeat, she was amazed and felt great love for her baby. In that moment Kyla knew she could not go through with an abortion and she chose life for her baby!

She is grateful for the support she will receive during her pregnancy, and feels supported by the nurses and counselors at the clinic. Thank God for this precious miracle!
