At age 22, Layla found out she was pregnant unexpectedly with her boyfriend she has been with for less than a year.

She recently decided to go back to school to get a college degree.

Layla’s boyfriend had recently lost his job and he was battling PTSD from his time in the Navy.

Layla and her boyfriend were both scared to bring a baby into their lives, so they started to contemplate abortion.

Layla searched online, and came across a Heroic Media ad that connected her to one of our Pregnancy Help Center partners in Dallas.

She spoke with a receptionist on the phone, and decided to come in a few days later for an appointment.

Layla sat down with a counselor to talk about her fears. As they talked about the development of her baby, she got emotional.

Layla stated, “I was supposed to be at an abortion clinic right now.”

She expressed that she really just needed someone to talk to about this decision.

Layla allowed the counselor to talk to her about God.

She left that day undecided, but during a follow-up call, Layla shared that her parents were now supportive of her pregnancy.

She decided to parent her baby!

Layla and her boyfriend are doing well, and will continue receiving support from our partner.

Praise Jesus!
