The work of God is always done with care and tenderness, always with a spirit of peace and without any sense of rush.
The way He forms a child in the womb over a period of nine months is a testament to the way He tenderly forms all precious things over time.
Liliana had gone through most of her life without knowing this Spirit of peace and calm.
When she found out she was pregnant, she felt rushed to “resolve” the situation.
Her only thought was to get an abortion as quickly as possible.
She turned to Google, the quickest way she knew to get information, and performed a search to find abortion information near her.
She clicked on the first link she saw, a Heroic Media ad, and was connected with our Pregnancy Help Center partner in Philadelphia.
Liliana made an appointment as soon as she could, ready to be done with this unexpected pregnancy.
Liliana’s understanding soon began to shift, without her even realizing it. Every person at the center gave her time.
Each one listened to her and made her feel seen, known, and valued.
They conveyed to Liliana their spirit of peace and calm and helped her to slow down in her mind and in her heart.
As the Holy Spirit worked on her heart through the love and understanding of everyone at the center, Liliana began to see another way.
It was a way that would take time and patience.
But Liliana began to see the beauty of this.
After hearing about the material and emotional support she would have through the center, and allowing her heart to be receptive to this new way of being, Liliana chose life for her child!
Praise God for the way He worked in Liliana’s heart, and praise God for Liliana’s receptivity!
