18-year-old Malia had one goal in mind: graduate from high school!

Upon arrival, Malia’s mind was set on abortion.

She told the counselor about the many difficult circumstances she had faced in her short life and how she did not want to bring a baby into this struggle until she was older and felt more prepared.

The counselor listened with compassion and care to everything Malia said, and made sure to remind Malia that this lifetime of overcoming had already proved how strong and capable Malia truly was.

As compelling and impactful as the counselor’s words were, it was not until Malia saw the ultrasound of her baby that her mind and her heart completely changed.

She looked in total awe, her eyes mesmerized by the perfect 9week-old baby who appeared on the ultrasound screen.

She delighted in the tiny arms and toes, and was stunned by the heartbeat.

Malia told the counselor that seeing her baby on the ultrasound had changed everything, and abortion was off the table.

The truth of LIFE had shined its bright light into her heart.

Malia has now embraced her motherhood, empowered by love and emboldened by truth.
