Megan felt alone and totally overwhelmed.

She had spent the past month grieving the end of her marriage.

Her husband had left her, and the grief was crippling.

Finding out that she was pregnant felt like the worst news she could imagine at the moment.

She did not want any connection to the man who had left her, and she did not think she was emotionally or mentally capable of having a child right now.

Abortion seemed like the best way to end this suffering.

Megan pulled up a Google search and typed in “abortion information”.

She clicked on a Heroic Media ad, was connected with our Pregnancy Help Center partner in Dallas, Texas, and agreed to come in for an appointment.

When she arrived, she seemed nervous and unsure.

She shared with the counselor the issues in her relationship and the fears that felt so paralyzing.

She wanted to know how far along she was and asked what a baby looks like at each stage of development.

When she saw her ultrasound, she was amazed to see an almost-17-week-old baby, perfectly formed, swimming and swirling on the screen.

She turned to the counselor and said,“There is no way I can have an abortion after seeing this!”

Praise God, for hearts changed by love and minds changed by truth!

for you, says the LORD, plans for your welfare, not for woe, plans for a future full of hope.”
