In her late teens, Shannon found out she was pregnant by surprise with her first child.

She is a college student, and had aspirations to finish school and start a career.

Shannon was shocked when she saw the positive pregnancy test.

She started to think about abortion, so she turned to the internet to find out more about her options.

Shannon clicked a Heroic Media ad that led her to call one of our Pregnancy Help Center partners in Steubenville, Ohio.

A phone receptionist answered the phone, and suggested that Shannon come in for an appointment.

She agreed, and came in a few days later.

Shannon brought a family member to her first appointment.

She sat down with a peer counselor to talk about her situation.

Shannon said her family would support any decision she made about her pregnancy.

She stated that the father of her baby wanted to become a parent, and he was excited.

Shannon was torn about what to do.

After having an ultrasound and learning about her options, she became more comfortable with the idea of parenting.

Shannon eventually made the courageous decision for life!

Praise Jesus!
