“I can’t do this.” This was the only thought in 23-year-old Sharon’s head when she found out she was pregnant.

Single, and caring for her 7-month-old daughter, Sharon had only recently found subsidized housing.

She had been homeless the year before that and was terrified that having another child would put at risk all that she had been able to accomplish and overcome.

Sharon googled information about abortion and, after clicking on a Heroic Media ad, was connected with a Pregnancy Help Center in Tampa, Florida.

When Sharon came in for her appointment, she shared with the counselor that her parents had both passed away and that the apartment she was living in was completely unfurnished.

The counselors assured Sharon that their center would be her support system and would help her get anything she needed, for herself, her infant, and her preborn baby.

Next, during her ultrasound, Sharon held the counselor’s hand and wept as they watched her beautiful 11-week-old baby dance on the screen.

After loading her up with diapers, formula and clothes for her 7-month-old daughter, and showing her all the resources they could provide for both of her children, Sharon joyfully chose life for her sweet baby!

After she left the appointment, the counselors sent out a call to their supporters for furnishings for Sharon’s apartment and then delivered a mattress, sofa, pots, pans, dishes, towels and toys for her baby that week.

Praise God for Pregnancy Help Centers who will move heaven and earth to provide the real help these precious moms and their babies need!
